Digital Strategist
Part-time to full-time, flexible working arrangement.
Brand Poets is seeking a Digital Strategist to orchestrate internal digital teams such as social media, ppc, website development and email marketing. This role is hybrid/remote but can be client facing as well and requires good communication skills. He/She should be a tech champion who understands the value of a strong online presence. Candidate must possess working familiarity CRMs, marketing automation, basic html coding, plus general knowledge of performance media and data insights.
DUTIES
- Serve as a digital leader for clients and our internal team, advising on how to leverage digital to drive business objectives and actively working with all teams to deliver world-class work.
- Bring a deep understanding of digital strategy and thought leadership to clients. Be willing to roll up your sleeves, craft thoughtful and compelling presentations, consistently up-level your work, and drive results.
- Oversee day-to-day execution of cross-platform social media content and engagement strategy, including Adobe CS content development and execution, platform strategy and management, community management oversight and workflow efficiencies.
- Work with creative team to drive creative ideation and push the digital ideation envelope.
- Demonstrate creativity and conceptual thinking on client programs and projects.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and/or tools for arriving at great work.
- Act as the day-to-day contact for web development team, social media team, PPC and email marketing while providing strategic solutions on anything/everything digital.
- Stay current on the latest digital technology, functionality, and integrations to serve as a go-to resource for the client and internal team.
- Strengthen your work across disciplines, working closely with our planning, paid, earned, creative and owned teams.
- Exhibit willingness to gain understanding of key client information including general business strategy, industry issues, products and services offered, key customers and competitors in the marketplace.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- 6+ years of related experience, ideally predominantly digital communications work from a digital, PR, marketing or advertising agency
- Ideally fully bilingual, English and Spanish
- A demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful digital programs
- A relentless passion and understanding of the role of digital communications for brand building, community engagement, etc
- Basic WordPress efficiency
- Expert familiarity of email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, ConstantContact, Klayvio, SalesForce, HubSpot and more.
- Direct working experience with social media tools and platforms – Hootsuite, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, etc
- Experience in creating and managing multichannel digital ecosystems
- Creative and innovative approach to problem solving
- Amazing presentation skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- Fully authorized to work in the US
